Our PCC / MCC and Bus Duct
have been successfully tested at Central Power Research Institute,
Bhopal for “ Verification of short Circuit Strength”
at 50 KA for 1 sec as per IS: 8623. This proves quality of Bus Bar
supports and their required spacing.
We use non- hygroscopic SMC supports for Bus Bar
for better mechanical and electrical strength & Higher tracking
index in order to ensure capability to withstand specified fault
current.
Panels are totally enclosed, dust and vermin proof,
fully compartmentalized, cubical design and modular construction.
The covers and doors are very well gasketed with neoprene rubber
so an to obtain dust proof enclosure.
Our panels have been successfully tested at Central
Power Research Institute, Bhopal for Temp. Rise Test as per IS:
8623.
The panels are manufactured with separate Bus Bar
chamber isolated from unit feeder chamber and Cable Alleys. This
provides extra safety for working personnel.
The panels are made out from 2mm thick CRCA sheet
steel for robust construction. The doors provided with concealed
hinges for better aesthetic appearance.
All sheet metal work is carried by means of hydraulic
shear and Hydraulic Press Brake of reputed make, thereby obtaining
desired accuracy.
All cut out for meters, relays etc. are made on
Nibbling Machine for obtaining much better finish.
We have standardized design and size panels, compartments,
Bus Bar chamber, Cable Alley depending upon the switchgear. The
results in obtaining much better quality and accuracy.
The panels are treated for degreasing, derusting,
phosphating, and passivating by adopting the Latest technology in
Chemical treatment of Fabricated Sheet Structures (8 Tank Chemical
treatment Process) as per the Indian standard specification before
panels are Powder Coated with shade RAL-7032 (Siemens Grey) or as
design by client with the Latest & state of the art Powder Coating
Machines. The Powder coated Structures are baked in a Gas Fired
Oven for obtaining a smooth & uniform finish
The powder coating of panels is carried out in
painting Booth having dust free atmosphere and the baked in oven
specially designed for the size of panels.
All power and control wiring terminals are brought
out in the cable alley for easy cable termination.
All power and control wiring is done by using
engraved ferrules of proper size and quality at both ends for identification.
The wiring is neatly bunched for easy location.
The Bus Bar are insulated with heat shrinkable
PVC sleeves and proper care is taken at all joining to have minimum
resistance. Before joining the Bus Bar surface is thoroughly smoothed
& petroleum jelly is applied.
All live parts are properly shrouded in order
to ensure no accidental contact with live parts during maintenance
& provide simultaneous inspection.
To achieve the quality of our panels, we meticulously
follow “Quality Assurance Plan” drawn
by us through our qualified and experienced Engineers and our Technical
Personnel during manufacturing process.
